María Isabel Giraldo Angel, founding partner of Giraldo Angel Asociados, is a lawyer graduated from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, with a postgraduated degree in Procedural Law from the same university; Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM), and Master in Business Administration (MBA), both from the University of Miami. She is also a Master in Philosophy from Maastrich School of Management.

She completed a Diploma in Senior Management of Boards of Directors at Universidad de los Andes, a Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility at Universidad Externado de Colombia in alliance with Confecamaras, obtaining the category of Consultant of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She is also graduated from IE Business School where she completed an Advanced Management Program, likewise, she completed a Diploma in International Arbitration at Solventa foundation in Spain, the Andean Development Corporation and Bogota's Chamber of Commerce. She completed studies in advanced English at Eastern Washington University and EF School in Cambridge (United Kingdom) and Malta.

She has more than 25 years of experience as consultant in Corporate Law, furthermore, she is arbitrator in Medellín's Chamber of Commerce and member of different enterprises´ Boards of Directors.

She is currently applying to a PhD in Management at Maastrich School of Management and at the Catholic University of Perú.
